Some members of the team were interviewed by the lovely Claudia Dalby, a journalist with the Dublin Inquirier, a online and print news outlet for Dubline Ireland.
We met in the Kilcoole offices of IAC archaeological company along with three of their archaeologists and Ruth Carden, who are part of the Viking Dublin Dogs Researcher Pack.
We got to chat about our grassroots project and also how archaeology helps us understand past lives and animal-human relationships. We saw the many boxes of animal bones and soil samples and other artefacts in IAC Kilcoole office - 'treasure' to the many different specialists who study the various different types of artefacts and remains.
